How Regular Email Campaigns Are Sent

How Regular Email Campaigns Are Sent

Regular email campaigns are handled automatically by the system’s background processing task.

Processing Behavior

Pending campaigns are processed:

  • In small batches
  • Automatically
  • Without manual intervention

Each processing cycle selects a limited number of campaigns to ensure stable delivery performance.

Campaign Flow

When a campaign enters the pending state:

  • The system picks it for processing
  • The campaign moves to a sending state
  • Recipient selection begins

Recipient Selection

Recipients are determined based on:

  • Verified accounts only
  • Subscribed users only
  • Optional membership targeting
  • Optional country targeting
  • Sender exclusion

If no eligible recipients are found, the campaign completes without sending.

Credit Usage

Campaign delivery depends on available credits.

  • Each recipient consumes credits
  • Filtering options may increase credit cost
  • The system calculates the maximum sendable recipients

If credits are insufficient:

  • No emails are sent
  • Unused credits are returned

Personalization

Before sending, the system automatically:

  • Replaces supported placeholders
  • Generates tracking links
  • Adds reporting links
  • Adds unsubscribe links
  • Appends system notes and company details

Delivery Handling

Once processing begins:

  • Emails are sent to eligible recipients
  • Sending continues until limits are reached
  • Campaign status is updated upon completion

Key Notes

  • Campaigns are processed automatically
  • Only verified and subscribed users receive emails
  • Credits control delivery volume
  • Unused credits are refunded
  • Standard tracking and compliance features are always applied
